The FPJ breech plugs bleed off pressure out the nipple, and one thing BH209 needs is contained pressure for best results. With a 12ga (0.720"-0.730") bore, once the shot cup starts moving the powder needs to continue to build pressure, and the more it moves, the harder it gets.The fixed vent breech plug provides 40% longer life and drastically less blowback. Honestly it might help a tiny bit but it depends on the size of your flash hole.
